Committed to High Standards of Care...

The GIL Core Values are anchored by a commitment to these tenets: to care, to serve, to train, and to encourage. This remains our pledge to each individual that has been entrusted to our supervision. We understand that as a private provider, we have been entrusted with the daily care and supervision of someone else’s family member and loved one. We may never come to love an individual as their own family; however without this kind of sincere and genuine motivation it will be difficult if not impossible to serve him or her effectively, with respect to all that is required of a caregiver in this challenging, yet rewarding occupation. This kind of motivation doesn’t just happen, it is cultivated. It may take time and effort to develop, but it is an essential ingredient to be effective in Human Services. For this reason, we resolve to hold fast to our service being “Grounded In Love” as the Foundation by which we perform.
Commitment to these core values will continue to be our pledge, while a foundation of love will serve as our passion.
